Was a good coach at Keystone. Knowledgeable about the game. Definitely not a very caring or warm guy. No personality. Very stern and could be degrading. A lot of the guys at Keystone are transfers who have had issues at other schools and many of them fall into the same problems because he doesn’t connect or actually care about players beyond the field.

When I first came to keystone and met coach Shevchik, he told me about what keystone baseball was all about and what it’s like to be a player under his wing. After my four years for playing, it was one of the best baseball experience of my life. Coach Shevchik really cares about each individual player and will lead you in the right direction on and off the field.
